Paul points out what many of us have learned over the years as Christians. He shares the problem that many of us face, day by day, moment by moment. Being a Christian in this human body is not easy. We can find ourselves working against ourselves, fighting the very thing that we are to be about. It is unfortunate but true.
Take a stab at something greater. Be cognizant of the things that work against our new nature as new creations in Christ Jesus. Try living at a higher level rather than lowering yourself to someone else’s level. You just might see yourself working towards elevating towards a higher level.
