Look throughout the Bible. Find a passage where someone has an encounter with Jesus. That person experiences a newfound joy. Whether it’s Andrew bringing Simon his brother to Jesus or the Samritan woman at the well, leaving her bucket to tell the entire town, it expresses and accentuates what happens upon the discovery of Jesus beyond a mere man. Imagine that such newfound joy is available to us. It is available to those whom we lead to Christ. It awaits those who seek Him earnestly with a broken heart and a contritie spirit. Such joy is available and accessible. It can be had by anyone who will confess the name of Jesus for forgiveness of their sins, accepting Him as their personal Savior.
