The church should have a personal touch. After all, the church is made up of people, especially people in need of hope, help and healing from the ways of the world. The church should offer more than the world could ever offer with both compassion and comfort. We have to become “sensory sensitive.” What I mean by that is that we need to become in tune with the needs oof the people who come in our midst. The most we can do is not what we always do,so I say that our sensitivity should be upgraded. We need to be certain to serve as true ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ. Wasn’t He compassionate? Didn’t He offer comfort and consolation? I believe that we can do it. I just hope that we are both willing and able to do so.
