The Word vs the World

Over the next couple of weeks, I want to dip into something that we rarely speak about and we surely do not study extensively.

Let’s look at where we place our dependence.

Let’s look at where we place our trust.

Let’s take a glimpse into where we place our faith.

Are we leaning on the ways of the world? Or, are we standing on the promises of God found in His Word?

Jesus Shared about the Possibilities

With man, Jesus shared that the possibilities are both slim and limited. You can only get so much from the system designed by men.

With God, on the other hand, Jesus shared that the possibilities are limitless.

Just the difference between both sides of the argument as presented by Jesus should cause us to take some things into consideration as we move forward.

The world system will never deliver to the same degree as the Word of God.

As we explore both the Word and the world in comparison, we truly will look at our own level of introspection to identify our own leanings.

My hope and prayer is that we begin to see where we, as Christians claiming belief in the Almighty, need to cling closer to every word of God and check our own tendency to lean all in on some of the world’s principles.
